CARACTERÍSTICAS DE LOS VIÑEDOS
Hijos de Antonio Polo boasts 18 hectares of vineyards in trellis, which are divided in pagos (estates) and these classified in areas that have been purchased already planted or have been prepared respecting the land.
Grape main variety is Tempranillo or Tinto Fino, the most characteristic of Ribera del Duero. Its tintos are excelent rich and highly alcoholic. Grown in hillside pagos like Molino Lobo, La Asperilla, Fuente de la Salud and El Roble, which most of them belong to the municipal area of Peñafiel, to achieve ample and opulent wines.
Vineyards are 90, 50 and 15 years old, with an output of 3000 kg per hectare.
We cultivate our vines using the fewer treatments and making the most of the vines reserves.
